Make no mistake about it, even though you'll never see the 2x4's behind your walls ever again, this is the skeleton of the project. Plumb walls, level window sills and square inside corners will make for perfect drywall finishing and smooth door operation, etc.

In our experience, 9 out of 10 basement projects need the drainage system, beneath the concrete, adjusted. It's loud, but necessary to cut concrete and move your drainage pipes to accommodate new or remodeled bathrooms, laundry rooms or kitchenettes. No worries, we fill it back in after inspection and it's like it never happened!
